As we’re in the midst of the back-to-school season, primary colors are popping up everywhere, fittingly so. (Not that anyone buys workout gear for class though.) Anyway, I love the classic combo of yellow, blue, and red, especially with the variety of hues available on the market. What’s your favorite?

Customizing stuff online is always fun, for me at least. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve played with mocking up my own Nike ID kicks, just because. Nike’s now brought the same fun to Hurley with their Phantom boardshorts, the surf equivalent of Nike Tempos. Above is a shot of the latest creation I put together; maybe one day I’ll commit to a pair.

Pretty swim things abound over at Cynthia Rowley. Glad to see that Ms. Rowley didn’t stop producing unique swim and wetsuit items after her ROXY collaboration ended.
If this doesn’t turn heads in the gym or in your exercise class, I don’t know what will. Still not totally sure what one’s to do in it anyway…?

Baggu’s Wetsuit Bag caught my eye on Acquire yesterday for two reasons: 1. I had no idea Baggu did more than simply bags [whoops], and 2. the idea of a wetsuit bag, although not something I’d purchase, was interesting. It’s fully seamed, sealed, and really shiny to make it sure your wetsuit doesn’t leak all over your car trunk and big enough to stand inside. Baggu has teamed up Pilgrim Surf and Supply to create a few beach day essentials: the aforementioned bag, a surf sling, and rack pads. I’m personally fine with the regular [read: cheaper] options that most surf companies offer, but I appreciate there being newer, more colorful options that stand out in the standard sea of black product.
I really appreciate how Free People has evolved into a full on lifestyle brand with the range of accessories and home items they now offer. Amongst the beautiful finds are these crafted bicycle seats from Brooks x Kara Ginther and a daintily applied crochet guard for your spokes. Cycling has never looked so sweet.

…should I call this post Kook’s Corner? I’m all for new artwork on surf boards, but when they’re non-endemic collector items, it gets a little old sometimes. The copy on the Vogue article is painful and obvious, too. Anyway, Tommy Hilfiger and his people rounded up a group of artists to do a very limited run of boards this Spring.
These are so dope, especially the Sk8 Hi. Supreme x Vans dropped these yesterday and are already sold out. With so many full size floral prints floating the market right now, these are my favorite interpretation. I know, I know…florals for Spring, but still.
