Sprinkling her soulful sliding skills and good life vibe at breaks around the world, Kassia Meador has been a longtime source of inspiration for the surf community, myself included. I loved her already for being a Los Angeles-area local, but her continued expression of grace and creativity is attention grabbing. She has a contagious attitude and style that’s difficult to ignore, which she translated into her own signature line of wetsuits for a number of seasons with her former sponsor, Roxy. Now behind the wheel of her brand, Kassia Surf, Meador continues to share her personal style with all her fellow “mermaids” and gives us the space treatment this Spring in her debut season. If the lookbook below is any indication, this is the start of something beautiful. Take a peep and pre-order your suit here.

Officially launching January 15, adidas and Stella McCartney are expanding their partnership and introducing StellaSport, a junior-focused fitness line with the sleek aesthetic you’ve come to know from Stella. Think the Selena Gomez-approved NEO line meets adidas by Stella McCartney, to be exact. The brand promises the usual intention of mixing gym-to-street styles for an effortless transition throughout your day and also lists “self-lacing” sneakers (!) in its mix. Peek the look book below.

AWxH&M: STATEMENT SPORT
“Wang has explained ad nauseam that his H&M collection is all about performance, and activewear in the form of seamless knitted leggings and tops, neoprene sweats, utilitarian, water-resistant coats and reflective mesh separates took center stage.” – Fashionista
Since it was announced this past Spring, I have been wildly awaiting the Alexander Wang + H&M collection to preview, and we finally got to see what it’s all about yesterday. While my initial reaction was that it’s not as wearable as I had anticipated (e.g. significant branding], I think it makes a strong statement for sport-influenced product and looks really wonderful from an editorial stand point. With neoprene being one of my favorite fabrics to use, I’m thrilled to see Wang continue to inject it into more product, even if it’s lost in novelty in high fashion. What are your favorites?

CUT IT OUT
“That looks like me.” That was my thought when I scrolled across this pullover on Without Walls yesterday. I even sent it to my co-worker to tell her it’s my new favorite thing. Like, if I turned into a piece of apparel, I’d bet it’s this. [or this. Close enough.] Described as a “bonded foam” fabric, I’m assuming that the unofficial way to say neoprene or a similar quality. I’ll take one, please.
PUNCHED UP: KL FOR LV
“I am always with the line from Voltaire, that ‘Everything that needs an explanation, isn’t worth the explanation.’ So what can I explain?
By now you’ve seen what I did? It’s fun! In fact I had several ideas and Louis Vuitton wanted to do them all—why not? All of the boxing things are related.
I know more and more women—and men too—who have started to box. I thought it was something that one should do, if possible, in a very expensive way. So I designed the huge piece of luggage with the punching-ball in it. I also wanted to make a bag that was inspired by that idea; it comes in different sizes. We made a special carpet with an application for beginners: where and how to put your feet and how to move. There is also a little bag with boxing gloves, it can be taken to the boxing appointment—I wanted to have a special Monogram for that too. It was really very childish, simple thinking!”
I won’t pretend that I always understand Karl Lagerfeld, but I’m not sure he does either. While incredibly excessive, I love his contribution to the Louis Vuitton “Iconoclasts” capsule and find it much more interesting than just another bag. On the flip side, I also don’t want to know who buys this.

NIKE NTM X WORLD CUP
It’s been a minute since Nike’s released a new NTM, but, appropriately so, the next series up for grabs is in the World Cup spirit. If you’re rooting for anyone outside of the USA, Brazil, France, or England, you’re kind of out of luck, but they’re nice to admire either way. Those red England tights would make nice yoga leggings any day, I think.

GISELE & NEYMAR FOR VOGUE BRAZIL
I am mildly obsessed with this Gisele and Neymar shoot for Vogue Brazil. It’s super clean and simple, which allows for both personalities to stand out without having to compete against high fashion or busy backgrounds. One more day until game time!
More after the jump.
TRAIN IN TIE-DYE
Who doesn’t love a little tie-dye for summer? Well, we love tie-dye so much that we did three different types. Perhaps you’ve already peeked some of these over on Blogilates! The scrunch dye is my favorite of the bunch; I already snagged the bodysuit. What’s your favorite?
DIY// TWISTED MUSCLE TANK
Cassey Ho of Blogilates is easily one of my (and probably yours!) favorite fitness personalities; she seems like the sweetest! Forever 21 Active was lucky enough to partner with her recently for a series of videos featuring our product, as well as getting some of her favorite picks from our Summer season. Check out the video she did with Meredith Foster of Stilababe09 to create your own muscle tank!
