Cassey Ho of Blogilates is easily one of my (and probably yours!) favorite fitness personalities; she seems like the sweetest! Forever 21 Active was lucky enough to partner with her recently for a series of videos featuring our product, as well as getting some of her favorite picks from our Summer season. Check out the video she did with Meredith Foster of Stilababe09 to create your own muscle tank!
The lovely Rodarte ladies have teamed up with Vansto promote the Vans Custom Culture Contest. Kate, Laura, and Vans are encouraging high schoolers to submit designs of their own decorated kicks to earn a cash prize for their own school’s art program as well as have the design produced. Pretty sweet. What’s also pretty sweet are the pair Kate and Laura designed and signed. Sadly for us, those aren’t going to be available. New DIY inspiration?

Despite being a horrific manicurist, I took a couple of shots at Team USA-inspired nails.
Attempt numero uno: Burgundy-red nails, ring fingers were navy with a gold wedge. Looked all kinds of terrible. [Nicole by OPI Twist of Fate // OPI unknown navy// NYC Broadway Burgundy Frost]
Take two: Gold glitter nails, ring fingers were red, white, and blue glitter with a burgundy-red base. Not perfect, but much better. [OPI Excuse Moi! // Sephora by OPI Looks Like Rain, Dear// NYC Broadway Burgundy Frost]
Anyone else picky about beach towels? Most beach towels I run into have cheesy graphics, are of cheap terry material, or are a bit too pricey (ahem). So I took a shot at styling my own, & here’s how it went.
After posting about the Vans x RIT collab, I decided to take a stab at it myself just for kicks. Since Vans isn’t offering the product in women’s sizes, it’s nice to know that the package is easy enough to put together on your own. Total cost came out to under $22, nearly a 1/3 of the price of the Vans shorts.
