I’ve always wanted to do a RunDisney race, but they’re usually sold out about the time I remember to go check dates. A few years ago I watched my friend run her first half at Disneyland, and the combination of the host venue and festively dressed participants created a great atmosphere. In honor  of the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend at Disneyland today thru Sunday, here’s a few inspired looks from iGlowRunning.

STUNTIN’ IS A HABIT
Maybe not stuntin’, but that’s what this Aristotle quotes make me think of.
Abundant Heart is probably best known for their Pinterest-popular slogan tops, but I’m really feeling their water bottle assortment. The “more…more…more” one is good little reminder.
Available here. This sweater also gave me quite a kick. 🙂
CFDA X SPORTS 2.0
Last time the CFDA paired up with the sporting world, we got this collaboration. Now Super Bowl XLVIII is the latest designer challenge with 48 helmets re-interpreted through fashionable eyes. Some designers on the list include Billy Reid, Blake Mykoskie for Toms, Cynthia Rowley, Dannijo, Public School, Rag & Bone, Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan for Donna Karan and DKNY, John Varvatos, Marchesa, Monique Lhuillier, Â Narciso Rodriguez, Nicole Miller, Olivier Theyskens, and Pamela Love.
I’m surprised by the lack of color so far. Couldn’t Narciso’s be easily added to an Oregon uniform? Bloomingdales will be showcasing all helmets starting next week as they go onto auction from 1/15-2/4. 100% of all proceeds will go to the NFL Foundation.
Get your bids ready.

L.A.M.B. ON THE S.L.O.P.E.
KILL ‘EM
Los Angeles-based leather goods brand KILLSPENCER recently launched their Athletics line of sport essentials, and the quality looks outstanding. Â Made in the USA, KILLSPENCER maintains an excellent commitment to craft, which is clearly reflected in the assortment of baseball, football, soccer, and boxing core items. All that’s missing is a baseball mitt, which I’m sure Spencer and team have already though through.
Available here.
THAT GOLD TREATMENT
Nike just released the update to the Fuelband, the SE, recently, but it’s this guy that’s getting all the girls’ attention. The Rose Gold update, a first release of Nike’s upcoming METALUXE collection*, finally hitting the sweet spot of blending sport technology and everyday wear. They even so kindly showed us how to accessorize it if you wear piles of bangles every day.
I’ve been curious about the Fuelband for a while, but not quite willing enough to purchase. Have you or any friends tried it? What do you think?
Available just in time for Christmas on Nov. 21.
* Is this also the Apple 5S effect?
TKO
Kick your autumn training into gear with some assistance from Alexander Wang’s gilded jump rope and understated bag/towel combo. Â Then again, my gym membership costs less than these two.
HELLO, OCTOBER
October baseball, that is. The Dodgers have clinched the NL West! Sportin’ my throwback cap to celebrate.
Hat available here.
FRIDAY THE 13TH
Friday the 13th is called so when events like a Lululemon warehouse sale take place with thousands of luon locos lined up for hours in advance before the doors open and then continue to wait 3 more hours until they can get it. Sigh. Somehow I ended up in the midst of this, grabbed a few items, and split. Look up the #soulcalcelebration to peek the madness. I probably wouldn’t attend again if it came back around to Los Angeles, but I am pretty stoked to test our the swimwear I got for $9. NINE!
EGG HEAD
Seriously, how darn cute is this bicycle helmet? It has Princess Peach written all over it. Well done, Egg Helmets, well done.
