Aren’t these Burton x Frye® boots just a beauty and breath of fresh air in the market? I don’t find snowboarding boots to be that unattractive compared to their ski counterparts, but it’s fair to say that the look and overall feel of the category can get a bit flat. Featuring USA-made leather and Burton’s signature BOA® lacing system, these harness boots are a definite stand-out and an extra special addition to any mountain day. Check out the soles, too! + My friend and I made it up to the mountains for a day of snowboarding on the slickest runs I’ve seen in my life. We managed to get off the chair lifts without looking like fools, which deemed it a good day. While the rest of the country is being pummeled with deep chills, CA is the opposite and in a dangerous state of warmth and drought.

+ One of my bucket list items, the Iditarod, started yesterday. Long live Balto!
