To honor Karl Lagerfeld as he celebrates his 78th birthday this Monday, let’s admire some of Chanel’s current sporty offerings.
PROJECT: DIY// FOOTBALL PENALTY FLAG
Last season, my all-girls Fantasy Football league made these little guys during MNF, and they proved to be a ton of fun. KNIGHT’S KNIGHTS
Kind of obsessed with Nike Chain Maille Mesh fabric. New performance textile that adds textural interest? I’m down.
Fight On, btw.
DESIGNER DROP SHOT
For this year’s US Open Vogue asked a few designers to put their mark on a tennis ball. Pamela Love and Warby Parker are my favorites. Pick your fave here.
LACOSTE LOVE
I think I’d wear this Lacoste skirt regardless if I played tennis or not.
PRETTY PENNY
Oh, how I love Penny skateboards. Seeing little kiddies on them is just the cutest, too.
ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD
MOVIN’ ON UP
Anyone seen C9 lately? Target sure is steppin’ it up.
JAMES PERSE YOSEMITE
I’ve spent many cloudy, cool mornings in Malibu bundled in a hoodie at Starbucks [including once this week already] and that’s exactly where the James Perse Yosemite collection takes me. That’s probably not their ideal intention with an active line, but it totally fits into the coastal vibe of a morning spent walking nearby trails and grabbing coffee afterwards.
Anyone love those tuxedo sweat pants as much as I do?
PS// I have a guest post over on Uni-Watch today covering Olympics Tennis fashion. Check it out here.
