Nanamica and Gore-tex look good together. Alas, no women’s offering yet again, but the construction looks A+. The preview of the Fall offering from Pitti shows that a lot more good stuff is coming.

[Arnold Palmer & Jack Nicklaus, US Open, 1962.]
While watching part of the Memorial today, a few flashbacks aired of Jack Nicklaus’ victories in the 1960s, 70s. In one shot, I noticed he was sporting a polo with his signature “Golden Bear” logo, which got me thinking: when did signature athlete apparel lines start? Time to do some homework.

Top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic recently joined Uniqlo as its Global Brand Ambassador. Formerly repping Sergio Tacchini, Djokovic debuted his new threads at the French Open this weekend. So far, I think the Italians do it better.
Ah, Craig Sager. Now that’s a closet I’d love to have a peek into. Who hasn’t watched a NBA game and thought, “What in the world is this dude wearing?” (Or something along those lines.) While some looks are certainly more outlandish than others, I would hate to see Sager in anything remotely safe.
Check out an interview Sager recently did with Esquire Style Blog here.

I was pumped to see the Bryan brothers featured in this month’s Vogue with Karlie Kloss. Then my heart stopped a little when I saw they were wearing shorts I designed. That means I can put “Anna Wintour-approved” on my résumé, right?
Check out the rest of the “Country Strong” spread here. Man, I am stoked.
One of my favorite style athletes, Rickie Fowler, scored his first PGA tour victory over the weekend while sporting his trademark OSU-honoring orange. To celebrate, have a look at few of Fowler’s recent outfits on the green.
With the exception of marital status, I’m always slightly amused at the presence of athletes at high fashion events. The new Met exhibit, “Impossible Conversations,” seems to be an appropriate title not just for Prada and Schiaparelli, but between these two colliding worlds, as well. Look on!
Fresh version of a varsity jacket. It’s like 95% percent of the way there for me; there’s a 5% that I really want to tweak.

Saw this Citi ad recently and spied a shirt of mine from K-Swiss, except that Citi removed all branding. Shirt available here. No black though; that was a sample.
Here’s a new video from K-Swiss, too, featuring the Bryans and my 2012 apparel.
