+ Anyone watch Downton Abbey? I’m so happy it’s back, and I don’t think I could love the Dowager more. This was my favorite shot.

+ I have a pretty healthy To-Do list going on, but I’m excited about it and trying to keep that spirit up. “Do it today” is my key phrase right now.

+ Yet another trip to the Sprinkles Cupcakes ATM with friends [see Alissa & Caroline deciding above]. The city was packed with people in town for the Rose Bowl, so driving through popular areas was a nightmare.

+ Rang in the New Year with a bad cold.                      + Breakfast fail from a new pancake set I got.

+ After church, we had yet another Sunday brunch. This time back again at Taste.

+ If you like new typefaces, then you should download my brother’s new one: VINCENT.

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! The Rose Bowl and Tournament of Roses Parade are one of my favorite NY traditions, particularly because they’re local, my love of football, and I used to decorate floats for a number of years. The Junior Rose Bowl is a thing of history now, but Miss JRB sure looks adorable.

A very big thank you to everyone who’s commented, liked, followed, or quietly read this site during the year. I immensely appreciate it. Cheers to 2013!

Week 17 of the regular season is tomorrow [sad day!], but these NFL goodies just dropped at Forever 21 this week. Who says you can’t rep your team year round? Not all teams are up online, but I did see more options in store. If anyone in St. Louis wants to ship me a Rams pullover, get at me. Please and thank you.

Weekend happenings//

+ Christmas at work: Santa (aka our President) made a guest appearance and White Elephant with my dept.

+ That time of the year again: Christmas tamale making with my family.

+ I’m still on a piñata-making kick: a couple of gold initials to mark gifts in lieu of gift tags.  + In-N-Out taking part in the Christmas season.

+ About half of the Christmas Eve desserts represented.   + Christmas viewing of one of my favorites: Meet Me In St. Louis

+ From one holiday to the next-I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a safe New Years Celebration in the coming days.
