Reebok re-released Emmitt Smith’s signature ES22 on Wednesday after being in the vault for fifteen years. I totally remember these like they were yesterday, which got me to thinking about other signature shoes of the 90s. Remember the Shaqnosis and all its stripey glory back when the big man was busy slinging candy bars and being a genie? Ah, childhood.
LET’S EAT
KD PACK ALONG
About time KD finally got his own signature backpack (courtesy of Nike). Designed to pack all of Durant’s color-coordinated road essentials, it’s a pretty straight forward ball bag. Nike also, smartly, made sure the swoosh is camera-ready on the frontside for those post-game pressers.

FIRST ON LAST OFF
It just started raining here and looks to stay for the weekend, which means it’s snowing somewhere*. NZ brand Mons Royale‘s cozy duds have got you covered.
*Speaking of, I’m probably due to rewatch that film.
PUMA X MCQUEEN
HighSnobette gave a glimpse of the new 2013 kicks Puma did with Alexander McQueen and Hussein Chalayan. I hope these guys aren’t wedge sneakers because I’d like them to find a home in my closet this Spring.
WEEKEND OFF DUTY
Weekend happenings//
+ Spent Saturday celebrating my wonderful brother‘s birthday: Family pancake breakfast with a bacon weave for the birthday boy (Epic Meal Time, anyone?), a primitive approach to piñata breaking, and seeing Mumford and Sons at the Bowl to cap off the night. A fine day.
Have a super week!

GRANNY’S CLOSET
Wildfox Couture goes granny for Resort, and apparently Kimberley’s grandma was one cool, preppy lady.
CHRISTMAS CROOKED GRIND
Santa, please place all three of these guys in my stocking this year. [via Free People]
FREEDOM
Boston College wore these a kits a couple of weeks ago, but I thought it was appropriate to share today. Plus, the uniform’s for a good cause as they’re partnered up with the Wounded Warriors Project, which is always worth highlighting. The cleats are pretty dope in a Captain America way; almost as cool as my USA flag running shoes that my friend Caroline captured me in.
Shoes: K-Swiss K-Ona [no longer available]. Men’s version here.
