+ I spent the weekend in Paso Robles with my family visiting old friends. I never get tired of Lake Nacimiento.
+ Goodbye, Olympics. It’s been swell. Hello, NFL. Glad to have you back.

I’m still on Cloud 9 from this win. Much deserved win for one of my former schoolmates.

+ Pixar night at the Hollywood Bowl + Lemonade for me, “juice box” wine for the bro
Other notes//
+ I spent Saturday morning cringing in front of the TV watching the Men’s Tennis Doubles final and was finally able to breathe when the Bryans took gold in a tie break.
+ Enjoyed a great evening at the Hollywood Bowl with my brother celebrating Pixar films. Randy Newman was in attendance, which made me very excited.
+ I was too consumed with the Olympics to catch any of the US Open this weekend. Congrats to Lakey and Julian!

Despite being a horrific manicurist, I took a couple of shots at Team USA-inspired nails.

Got home Monday evening after spending the weekend in San Francisco to support my friend running the marathon. A few highlights:
+ Taking off from LAX with Starbucks // Fantasy Football updates on my way home
+ Grabbing lunch at Mijita’s at the Ferry Building
+ Best friends since elementary school
+ Freezing on the misty beach at Golden Gate Park // Banksy spotted in North Beach
+ Post-race celebratory lunch at Union Square
